I still haven't fit page 3 together from the 2 scans, and I'm still working on pages 4 & 5, but it's senior year and my workload at school's really tight right now.

So here's a Superman piece I did a good while back for a Draw-off over at The Planet with a guy named Zedin.(Shawn McGowan)

I'd like to think I'm getting better.
If I intend to get a pro gig, I've got one heck of an impression to make, right?
I also figure, being only 17, they're not exactly gonna pay me much attention at first.

I really dig the Hawkman. It feels like he's gonna jump out and beat the shiznit out of me. Never stop drawing.

Sweet stuff.

There's lots of talent displayed here, but it's hindered by too-much-informationitis.

What that means is that you know alot about form and rendering, but you have yet to learn where it should stop.

BUT FEAR NOT!! You're too talented, and you demonstrate a lot of knowledge, and it's apparent to me that it's just a matter of time. You should make it professionally if you don't give up and continue to absorb. Trust me, you'll be chasing that nugget for the rest of your career, and you won't mind a bit. Getting better is one of the things we all look forward to in this industry.

16+ years and I'm still pushing the envelope.

Good luck, but stop before you start taking work away from me. Don't wanna break your pencils, if you know what I mean....
