I would definitelly want to see Gar back in the Titans, or as someone else mentioned, in a Doom Patrol mini or series, as long as he is handled ok.
As much as I respect Gail's writing I don't seem to enjoy her take on the titans. Her two partner with Liefeld was horrible, and the Doom Patrol appearance in Secret Six was so poor. They behaved like amateurs and were easily defeated by the Six. I know it was the Six's book, but they deserved (particularly Gar) more respect and don't be portrayed as a joke, or a really ineficient team. Ah and Gar is not a kid !!!!! he should be at least 22 or 23. I know Geoff deaged him to 19 so after OYL he must be 20. So having catman, or deadshot (I can't remember who it was) save him because he is a kid was just poor research and character knowledge.

I'll be happy to see Gar anywhere so long as he's well written and well drawn. As much as people complain about Liefield's drawing, at least Gar looked better there than he did in some other books...

One thing that is actually a pet peeve of mine is artists who just draw Gar as an animal. Instead of a human standing there, he's an animal sitting on someone's shoulder.

And I'll bet that no sign of either Gar or the Doom Patrol will anywhere be seen.

The Doom Patrol need maybe a 7 issue Mini, then let them appear in a variety of Team Books and single Hero books trying not only to publicize themselves, but to recruit some different members to ditch Mal, Karen, and Gar. (Mal and Karen need to stay in limbo...their characters are boring to me, and Gar doesn't need to be in Limbo after the development he's had in Titans, which is alot for his standards). Then if they are doign good and there is still demand for a series...give it to them.

You know... I wish we could edit posts sometimes instead of having to make a second post...

Anyhow, I hope no one minded, but to make it easy to find all the banners, I made a "quickie" image page. Nothing fancy, but we can use it as a link to where all the banner images are, instead of having to scroll through all the back posts. I didn't identify artists - I just put them up in order of posting. If anyone wants though I can re-divide the page by banner designer.
