That is an impressive pic. Twice now in the past month I've judged a book by it's cover (DD 100), and will be picking it up the book. Hopefully Bart will somehow revert to his younger self, paving the way for Wally or Barry's return (without killing Bart).

Yeah, I think we're going to see something like that. Here's the theory I posted at CBR:

Yes, that's Bart in that image. In the eyes of the DC universe, he'll be D-E-A-D. No, he's not really going to die. In actuality, he'll be on another world, perhaps as that world's Barry Allen, when the Rogues were new and the Flash was not yet a legacy (but that part's pure speculation).

The reason why this is such an important Countdown tie-in is because in the months to come, many, many characters are going to follow suit--removed from New Earth and scattered into the multiverse. (Remember that Kingdom Come tease in JSA, and how Elseworlds-looking that first promo image was?) Countdown is, literally, a counting down of Earth's heroes. Darkseid is eliminating the pieces in his chess game. Say what you want, but.. that's just good chess.

I agree that he'll find his way to another Earth...but we don't know which Earth he is going to. I say E-2 because of the quote from JLoA#0, you say E-1 because Barry is back; we'll just have wait and see. And yeah, that is damn good chess.

They are really go all out with this one. Looks like all the major comic sites are running articles about this. We can always hope that with the solid writing that we have had since Marc came on board and Tony's great art that there will be a high retention rate after this event
