I am torn. I don't want to pick up this title, b/c I really don't care for having the WS characters integrated into the DCU. However, I am a real fan of J'onn, and hate to not pick up a book that he is featured in.

Paul Cornell (Doctor Who) is exactly the right way to promote Paul Cornell.

I am looking forward to this one. I had gotten tired of the WS titles before they went away (too much writing themselves into a corner and then rebooting). But this looks to be a nice fresh take on the characters, plus adding J'onn in there has grabbed my interest.

Cornell said he got to write a scene where Apollo and Midnighter first meet...the team needs a little help getting Midnighter on board...Martian Matchmaker! That explains it, right?

If so, Cornell could be the only guy who could write this book.

Looking at all the solicits, I wonder if, in Frankenstein: Agent of Shade, that S.O.M.B.I.E. character is really S.U.M.B.I.T.C.H. in disguise?

When I read this, all I could think about was Majora's Mask.

This solicitation. This right here is why I'm excited for Cornell's Stormwatch. I think with a majority of other names attached to that title I would roll my eyes at the description. But with his, I buy it hook line and sinker. With zesty enthusiasm. Some of the most memorable stories for me have been those ones where I at the concept... then see the execution and am Paul Cornell. YES.

And Midnighter's reboot costume is still ugly as hell.

I think I'm more excited about the Wildstorm heroes then most every DC super hero except the Dark books and Batwoman.

Definitely excited about the reinvention of Stormwatch featuring Paul Cornell as writer. I wonder if J'onn will assume the Henry Bendix persona? Also hope we get to see Jenny Spark (or Quantum) again. I missed her.
