Default R.I.P. Dick Clark

He died today at 82 of a massive heart attack in a Santa Monica hospital, where he had gone for a routine surgical procedure.

Edit, never mind, could a mod please merge this or eliminate it in favor of the thread that got there a few seconds earlier?

R.I.P. Dick

I've been a big fan of his my whole life and have long enjoyed his American Bandstand, Pyramid game shows and New Year's Rockin' Eve

RIP. Never got to see much of American Bandstand, but did see the New Years eve show a few times.

I loved the Blooper and Practical jokes show early on that he produced and hosted with Ed McMahon and its always interesting to see him crop up on TV shows (like the last episode of the original Perry Mason TV series).

I wanted to post a link to some kind of video tribute for Dick in this thread and found a number of goodies on You Tube.

I like this one a lot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQo4f...eature=related

My 18 year old daughter and 21 year old nephew had no idea who Dick Clark is. I was speechless.
